BIOGRAPHY

Hayley Hughes is an LA-based Production Designer and Set Decorator. She attended the USC School of Cinematic Arts where she received a BA in Film and Television Production.

Hughes is fortunate for filmmaking because she believes that it welcomes audiences into the lives and cultures of its characters. Audiences can take away an idea, a feeling, or an understanding of life beyond their horizons. The world that the Production Designer creates through their production design can help emit this. They are transported to a place and time that can be very different from their own. One is able to escape the chaos of their own world and dive into that of another’s.

Hughes has explored various genres in narrative including thriller and romantic comedy and has experimented with branded commercials.
